EXI-TS Artist Academy is a formative program hosted in the city of Trieste, which aims is promoting artistic development and fostering the exchange of skills for the professional growth of artists. Positioned in an international context, Trieste stands out as an ideal environment to offer advanced courses to talented artists from Italy and abroad.

MLZ+WAF is constantly dedicated to creating a unique educational and cultural environment, actively promoting the creative development of artists. Within this objective, we conceived the idea of expanding the role of the gallery, integrating the organisation of art classes and workshops. This initiative aims to generate a new social impact by involving key players and supporters of the art world, including gallery owners and artists, in the promotion of art and cultural education.

The formative program emphasises the research process and reforms the way artistic, critical and curatorial practices are disseminated. It promotes study and research activities by facilitating access to the historical-cultural, bibliographic and archival heritage, as well as to the productive network of the territory, through meetings with professionals, scholars and other experts in the city. EXI-TS Artist Academy encourages the spirit of openness and the exchange of knowledge, skills and professionalism during all phases of the project.
